A good friend mentioned her collection of monochrome art, so I thought I'd give that a go. This bicycle was parked outside a restaurant in Rome, and it was such a classic we had to get a photo. My husband captured it well, but I cropped it for this composition.

You did the bike! Wow, it's been a while since I've been blog surfing...nice work! :) Monochrome is very nice. Did you enjoy doing it?
This was really fun to paint because I do love the photo and the memory of that day in Rome. Painting in monochrome is quite challenging, and circles are also difficult for me.
