Edits and Updates
Well,I decided to scrap the sunflower I had been working on because I just wasn't "feelin' it". I covered the canvas with gesso, and will start anew, BUT in the meantime a new project has crossed my studio. I will spend the next few weeks working on a submission to an art exhibit which will take place during the month of May in NYC! I will share the details as I progress this week, so stay tuned.....

Ah, so *there's* some noise from my quiet friend. :) What's gesso? Can't wait to see what you are concocting for NYC!
Well, maybe a whisper. Gesso is a surface preparation or primer use to cover natural canvas, usually to make the white surface. Or in this case, I used it to "erase" the mess I had made.
